DESCRIPTION WormiTrex WSP is a broad spectrum antihelmintic, water soluble powder, for the treatment and prevention of respiratory and gastro-intestinal nematode infestations in poultry and pigs. COMPOSITION Contains per ml:       Levamisole base ................................................................. 200mg       Levamisole HCl 23.6%)       Excipients q.s .................................................................... 1gm INDICATIONS WormiTrex WSP is safe for use in all ages and species of poultry. It can be used in chickens, turkeys, ducks & geese. It is highly effective against the following species of worms: A: In Pigs: i) Gastro-intestinal nematodes Ascaris suum, Hyostrongylus rubidus, Strongyloides ransomi, Oesophagostomum dentatum & Trichuris suis. ii) Nematodes of the respiratory tract (Lungworms): Metastrongylus apri. Also very effective against Stephanurus dentatus (kidney worm) infestation in pigs. B: In Poultry: i) Gastro-intestinal nematodes Ascaridia galli, Capillaria spp, Trichostrongylus spp, Heterakis gallinarum, Gongylonema spp & Strongyloides avium. Also very effective against Amidostomum anseris (gizzard worm) infection in ducks & geese. ii) Nematodes of the respiratory tract: Syngamus trachea (gapeworm). METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION By oral route after incorporation into feed or drinking water, administered either individually or as group treatment. One day’s treatment is usually adequate. Repeat treatment after 2-3 weeks if animals are likely to be re-infected. DOSAGE Use at 25mg Levamisole base/kg bodyweight. Wormi-trex WSP is administered orally as follows:       In Feed:       125 mg Wormi-Trex WSP per kg bodyweight for 1 day.       In Drinking Water:       50g Wormi-Trex WSP per 100 litres drinking water for 1 day. Remove all other sources of water or feed or until the birds have completely consumed the medicated water/feed.
