DESCRIPTION An antibiotic formulation, containing Oxytetracycline for the treatment and control of bacterial infections in poultry cattle, calves sheep, goats and pigs. COMPOSITION Each gram contains:       Oxytetracycline ............................................................ 200g INDICATION The treatment and control poultry and other livestock of a wide range of bacterial infections including the treatment of: Poultry: Coliform Septicaemia, Fowl Cholera, Fowl Typhoid and control of secondary infections associated with chronic respiratory disease (CRD) in poultry. Pigs: Respiratory, septicaemic and gastro-intestinal bacterial infections. Also in the control of secondary infections associated with Swine Enzootic Pneumonia. DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION Administration By oral route after incorporation into drinking water or feeds. Dosage General: For all species, 5g of powder per 20 kg b.wt. daily by oral route. Poultry: Prevention: 5g powder per 20 litres of drinking water. Treatment: 20g powder per 20 litres of drinking water for 7 days. Pigs: 5g powder per 5 litres of drinking water or 5 g of powder per 2 kg of feed. Calves: 5 g powder per 40 kg b.wt twice daily for 7 days.
