DESCRIPTION Piperazine WSP is a antihelmintic, water soluble powder, for the treatment and prevention of infestations of roundworms (Ascaridae) in poultry, cattle, calves, pigs and horses. It is also active against nodular worm (Oesophagostomum spp) in ruminants and pigs. COMPOSITION Contains per ml:       Piperazine Citrate .......................................................... 1 gm (100% w/w)       (this is equivalent to a minimum of 0.35gm of active piperazine). INDICATIONS Piperazine WSP is highly effective against the following species of worms: A. In Pigs: Ascaris suum, Oesophagostomum spp. and Strongyloides ransomi. B. In Poultry: Ascaridia galli C. In Horses: Parascaris equorum, Trichonema spp., Oxyuris equi, Strongylus vulgaris D. In ruminants: Ascaris vitulorum, Oesophagostomum spp. Hookworms: Bunostomum spp, Gaigeria pachyscelis. E. In Dogs and cats: Toxocara spp, Toxacaris spp, hookworms Toxocara canis METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION By oral route after incorporation into feed or drinking water, administered either individually or as group treatment. In all cases PIPERAZINE is given as a one-day treatment. It is advisable to deworm at least once every 3 months. In heavy infestation (as in pigs) deworm every month. Piperazine WSP is administered orally as follows:       In Feed:       1250mg Piperazine WSP per kg bodyweight drinking water for 1 day       In Drinking Water:       50g Piperazine WSP per 100 litres drinking water for 1 day.
